Yoga teacher training in India

Yoga teacher training in India

When looking for yoga school or training center; curriculum and environment are both equally important. You can learn all the theory from books; all the asanas from an experienced and qualified teacher; but when it comes to experiencing the strength, and benefits of yoga you need to live the life of a Yogi.An ashram is usually a spiritual, secluded abode, where some study, instruction, and community work happens, under the guidance of a guru (teacher or master). The life at the ashram is self-transforming, supportive and creative.

Paramanand ashram offers residential Yoga Teachers Training and Yoga Therapy Teachers Training courses in the serene and calm environment of an ashram in India. With the kind blessings and inspiration of Yugpurush Swami Paramanandgiriji (who has been inspiring the world with Yoga and Vedanta for the last 56 years). Students are mentored by one of the best team of yoga teachers and professors under the guidance of Dr. Omanand (Guruji). The life at the ashram is self-transforming, supportive and creative.

Yoga and Meditation

Our Yoga Teachers’ Training program includes Yoga Asanas (poses), Pranayama, Bandhas, Mudras, Shatkarmas (Yogic cleansing processes), meditation, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Chidshakti Prakriya (Consciousness-awakening Technique) and much more.Meditation is an integral part of the course and of the ashram life. We have a tree house and a meditation hut for self-practice.

Yogic Environment

Learning Yoga is one thing and practicing it every day is a different thing. When you learn it in a school everything seems easy because the company you have is highly competitive and they keep practicing in front of you that encourages you to work hard and stay focused.
But the moment you leave the school you are on your own. And if by any chance your friends and family are not into yoga then you are in deep trouble buddy because no matter you wake up at 5 AM if the person next to you is sleeping then chances of you waking up decreases more than 50% and I bet my facebook account on this and by the way my FB account is priceless.
Environment plays a big role in the development of the human nature and personality, this is the reason people study a lot in Harvard, Oxford and the MIT because the environment is highly competitive. There is no way you can waste a single day without studying. The same applies with Yoga practice. The same person who used to practice for 6-7 hours will find it difficult to practice for 1 hour.
Welcome to our Ashram at India and practice yoga, for more detail visit @ www.paramyoga.org
